Enhancing Lives Through Theatre
Ovation Theatre Inc, our non profit (501- c3) was founded to provide the youth in our community with hands on theatre experience whether it be as a performer or behind the scenes. Ovation Theatre Inc was founded in 2019 and has since put on 4 full length musicals, Disney's "Descendants" ,"Beauty and the Beast" , Elf the Musical, Wind in the Willows and Chicago Teen Edition. as well as 4 Holiday musicals, 2 Halloween Spooktacular Show sas well as 2 Love Songs Cabarets!
The performers are getting stronger and more confidant with each performance.
The students are working with professional directors, choreographers as well as music directors.
Theatre provides not only performing experiences but also skills in teamwork as well as leadership. Lifelong friendships are being formed and memories that will be cherished.

The musical is based on the plot of the film Finding Nemo, with characters performed in large puppetry by live actors and dancers on stage. It revolves around Marlin, a widowed clownfish who is desperate to find his son Nemo, who was snatched away by a diver in the ocean

Putting on a theatre production takes a village! From costumes, to scenery, to lighting and sound, add props and stage crew to the mix and there is a mighty group being formed put on a single show! Ovation is always looking for volunteers, whether it be backstage or helping out at the concession stand!
